Documentation
I am looking for any historical documentation for the development and writing of the 12 Traditions, besides AA Come Of Age. I'm putting together a workshop for AA Traditions, similar to a 12 Step Workshop. Appreciate all comments and direction.

Here's a link to the GSO website - Directly at the top is Archives. Call them or email them ~ they are usually very quick to respond and will be able to give you direction and maybe some materials to assist in your presentation. I would like to see a presentation of the history of the 12 Traditions! Good Luck!
I have seen a presentation of the history of the Big Book and particularly like the initial drafts of How it Works. Not what you might expect! Also, a history of how they came up with "Higher Power of Your Own Understanding".
Also the books AA Comes of Age and Dr. Bob and the Good Oldtimers likely have references to the development of the Traditions from the eyes of our Co-Founders. They even have pictures in them!

Cling to the thought that, in God's hands, the dark past is the greatest possession you have - the key to life and happiness for others. With it you can avert death and misery for them. page 124 BB

Re: Documentation
Welcome here Bob, well done on undertaking such a project.
The best source of information on the development of the traditions that I have seen, is one done by a group in Baltimore, if makes reference to articles in several AA approved and non approved publications. We don’t allow links to individual groups, so I will send you a link to the page privately.
Best of luck with your workshop.
Edit – the link will not copy it comes up as ‘spammer,’ but if you enter in Google - History of the Traditions - the West Baltimore Group Home Page.
Then look at the third from the top you will see it.
At the bottom they list the various books they are referring to.

You could contact your Area office, they may have a History & Archives committee.
