AA Police

Post by Marc L »

I have often wondered who they are and what they do.
To Protect and To Serve is the mission, I would imagine.
So...

- I do my best to unwaveringly uphold the AA preamble.
- I like to put monkeywrenches in the gears of ConArtist's attempts at FearDriven Tradition Seven Fraud on unsuspecting newcomers.
- I do it for free... How's that for Service.

Well By Golly, I do Tink I is an AACop. Now where's the doughnuts?

Recovery won't just happen by Osmosis. You gonna' have to work at it some.

I've two sponsees procrastinating on their Step 4, Marc. I've PM'd you their names and addresses.

Go sort 'em out!

Thanks in advance!

I'd like to help you but What if you were to go and really piss them off so they'll write about you.
Just a thought. What would your sponsor do if/when you won't do your StepWork?
They're your guys so you figure it out.

I've seen my name on a Step 4 at a Step 5!

My sponsor's take is a lot more hardcore than mine; we both set a date for my Step 5 and we stuck to it. He asks his sponsees to find another sponsor if they procrastinate too long on their Step 4. I'm softer, I fall for their bullshit, er, reasons for not having it done, again and again.

I've not sponsored many, but it seems that they either will do it, or they won't (obviously), but the ones who won't drag it on and on until I ask them to find another sponsor who could be helpful for them.

It's okay, I know there's no easy answer; but if there's A.A. Police - that would be helpful in this area!

My husband introduced me to what I call "The Cannon"... it's a .44 and I squealed every time he popped off a shot... Then he made me shoot it! I thought it was going to kill be, but I lived to know that one is getting traded for a nice 9mm!

Hi;
I never did get those PMs.
So either you are a liar or Karl and Ian are messing with you.
See what happens when you ignore the lowest of lowlife's who desperately want/need your attention or money.
Before getting involved in service work for some vaguely defined online entity
I like do the homework necessary to make the decision.
So I've done a little digging for information about this e-AA.org thing to answer a few questions like:
What is it?
What does it do?
Who is behind it?
3 simple questions and the answers I found are all in the public domain. So for the inquiring minds who want to know...

*** Begin MyPoliceReport ***

--------------------Item One:----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Looking at the e-aa.org Admin Roster we find several entries.
One in particular (DeanC) has a WebSite attached to it.
Link:http://www.Spammer/about.php
Looking inside the e-aa.org newsletters we find that the e-aa group owes or has paid Insight Planners $200.00 for some sort of service.
Web hosting perhaps, I do not know. IMHO e-aa is getting ripped off.
WeekendWinnerWorkshop.org's costs less than $50.00 per year and the Domain Name is Included.
Another tidbit of info can be found at :https://www.Spammer.
Apparently Dean Collins died of cancer in February of 2005.
So e-aa is paying a dead guy. For what???
Hmmm, I don't like it.

--------------------Item Two:----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Insight Planners recommends GoDaddy for Domain Name Stuff so off we go to GoDaddy and find the Who.Is entry for e-aa.org which reveals
that Simeon Leifer is the registrant. His wife, Ketra Oberlander, is visually impaired and possibly hitting the wrong keys on the keyboard which might explain why there are spelling mistakes a plenty in this forum's threads. Just a wild guess.

*** End MyPoliceReport ***

To me, It doesn't look like any law has been broken so no jail.
If you want to know where your Tradition Seven money went I have a couple ideas.
KarlR ran away with it or it went up the Forum Coordinator's proverbial YingYang.
And the moral of this story is:
Don't call the cops on your friends unless you really have to. Got it!!!
And, BTW, You don't get a login over at my place until I see some of your written work in the Step Study Threads.
Do you still like me?

We do what we can with available resources.
The .44 mag is a man's gun... The recoil may be too much for a woman. :D
The .45 is about the same caliber as a 9mm.
And we are powerless over the rest.
