That’s the first step in AA, we admit we are alcoholic, followed by admitting our lives have become unmanageable. Usually we admit that after we try to stop drinking and fail, or we stay away from booze but are unhappy as hell about it, this unhappiness leads us back to drink. I will put up links to some literature, maybe you can have a read, please feel free to ask any questions or make any comments, having new folks here and trying to help is something we enjoy.
