We hear so much from certain people, we just assume they are ready to
take the reins and get the group going. However, the talkers are not
necessarily the doers, and there doesn't in fact seem to be much in the
way of pushing the new member into service work, the way there is in a
f2f meeting. This group is very important to me, but I am afraid to
stand for office simply because there doesn't seem to be a lot of
support for the trusted servants -- just a lot of complaining. And now
I'm complaining about that! :)
Don't understand this question either.
More could be done to promote involvement within the group. Len has done
a good job doing this in the forums, and has found people willing to
serve as moderators that sometimes surprised me.
