Merl here with 9 months

Post by Merl » Fri Aug 26, 2016 6:11 pm

Hi All,

Been busy with everything life has been throwing at us. Lost eight family members in six months. One was my mother in law. Through it all, prayed, went to meetings, followed the steps, stayed in touch with my sponsor daily and most importantly never picked up a drink. In 9 days I'll have 10 months. To be honest, I don't know where the time has gone.

God bless you all,
Merl

Hi Merl and welcome.

Congratulations on 9 months plus of sobriety!

So glad to hear you were able to go through all those losses without picking up a drink. Thank you for sharing how you worked through it all. Looking forward to reading more of your shares.... :D

Congratulations on your 9 months and coming up on your 10! Very sorry to hear of all the loss in your family, but the ability to stay sober amidst all that is amazing.

Wow - so sorry for the losses you have had. My first year was wicked hard too. We made it! Now we must tell others HOW we made it. Good on you man... Keep Coming Back! Let us know what ES&H you have!
