About me
About me
I didn't see a place for introductions so I thought I would put this here since I just jumped on and started sharing. I'm Alison from Virginia. My sobriety date is 2/29/88. I'm an artist and a computer programmer. I'm married, going on 23 years, and have one daughter and two grandchildren. I work from home and it can get lonely so I love to stay connected with people online. Thanks for having this forum.

Re: About me
Welcome Alison! Glad you are here. My name is Paige and I am a 50 year old alcoholic from Iowa. Sobriety date 8-1-2009. I found this forum quite a while back and I visit every day. Not because I am now a moderator, but because I too love this online Fellowship. It has also given me a host of new friends!
I am particularly fond of the Daily Reflections page... I am convinced that coming here daily for a meeting on the DR reading saved my life.
Keep coming back! I hope you look around and discover all that e-aa has to offer. If you can't find it you can ask any of us and we'll try to point you in the right direction!

Re: About me
Hi Alison,
I can relate - I live way out in the boonies and work from home. Fortunately, I have 2 great dogs to keep me company during the day so working from home isn't always that lonely LOL! The nearest AA meeting is 30 minutes away. I joined the online forum so I can keep in contact with some fellow AA's when I can't make it into town to attend a meeting.
