30 years¡

Post by Soberguy27 » Sun Mar 29, 2020 2:04 pm

I celebrated 30 years yesterday. They said it couldn't be done without a belief in God so as an atheist I am here to let other like minded members of aa that it can be done!
I have no issues with religion or the spirituality that most in aa speak of but, for me I had to find a different way. I did work all the steps but just did them a little differently than most. So there is hope and recovery for those like myself who are atheist, agnostic, humanists and free thinkers. Remember to take what you need and leave the rest.

Me too. And YES ~ Take what you need and leave the rest. Gentle, loving tolerance. We ceased fighting. I wrote an article that appeared in the Grapevine about me hanging up my gloves!

Congrats! Peace to you my sober friend!

Congratulations! 30 years is a very long time. That is about how long my drinking career was.
