AA Birthday Plan

Post by Carrie » Wed Nov 20, 2019 12:13 am

Happy Sobriety Birthday!! 🎂🎈🎁🔺

If you participate in the AA Birthday plan, and plan to send in a contrabution, remember to include your Home group's NEW service number.
ALL groups were recently given "NEW" GS numbers with the new system.

Some members contribute $1 for each year of sobriety on their Birthday to the GSO.
(Or just put extra money in the basket at your home group.)

Did you know there's a way to contribute to the birthday plan on line? And its simple!! :) Just click here... https://ctb.aa.org/contribution/index.s ... #/register but I highly recomend acquiring your Home Groups new service number "before" contributing on line however. This way, your birthday contribution goes under your group and helps to support concept 7 (the groups staying on the top of they triangle and holding ultimate authority. Power of the purse)

Jimmy D. SW Regional Trustee:
"Lets all take time to consider when we are contributing to our 7th Tradition, that our ultimate authority rests with the group's. RESTS WITH THE GROUP'S! It's our ultimate hold card. It's our ability to hold funds...
Even if you're contributing online, tie that contribution with your group service number."

Your Treasurer or GSR should be able to get your new service number for you. Or just contribute directly to your home groups basket.

Again, Happy birthday! You are a miracle!❤

And "break the buck" habit. A dollar in the basket doesn't go as far as it once did!

7th Tradition:

"Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions."

If you are a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and would like to make a 7th tradition contribution to support The E-AA Group, an antonymous group, please use one of the following Links.

via PayPal:

For information on how to send via Regular Mail:

Be sure and answer “Are you an alcoholic, and member of AA”

Or contact listmanage@e-aameetings.org

We encourage an occasional contribution.

Please join the business meeting to read reports, join in, and ask questions.

The website appears above board, the link you put doesn't seem to work well, but the original posted link goes to an AA site, it also says -
Contributions may also be sent by mail to:
General Service Office
Box 459
Grand Central Station
New York, NY 10163

For questions or problems with Contributions Online:
Call: (212)870-3400

CTB is what i am questioning. Why would aa.org have CTB in front of aa.org? Never seen this happen.

CTB = Contributions? Maybe extra secure for entering credit card info.
