40 years

Thanks to AA, I’m starting my 4th decade sober in this wonderful Fellowship today.

I would say that it would be cool to hear your story sometime as to reach 40 years doesn't just come without many hurdles, struggles and life on life's terms and also many positive attributes. As you know us young kids..... still have a lot to learn. For me my time started in November 1, 1989 and I got tired of being a retread in the revolving door of AA. As a newly sober person I couldn't fathom 40 years much less 40 minutes and here it is after all these years I have been given this gift of sobriety.

Well done on your sobriety and life in AA.
