Hello everybody

Post by Wiganman »

Hello everyone and a Happy New Year. I have been reading these forums for the last 20 months and they have been a vital part of my recovery. They are always accessible to me, something I can just delve into when on a break at work. So its taken me 20 months of reading and learning but I finally registered and this is my first post.

Thanks to everyone who has ever posted something that has helped me, there have been very very many.

if anyone is new and struggling try and use the invaluable advice that is in abundance on this board.

Welcome Wiganman, Hope to hear more from you friend.

Best wishes,
Don't know exactly where I am going but I'm on my way and it's already much better than where I've been.

Glad you stuck around. Please free to share your journey. We open our being to let others enter our life so all can recover. Hope you have a big book (Alcoholics Anonymous) and have a good understanding what they mean by powerlessness and un-manageability. IT is the most important step of all.
Show him the mental twist which leads to the first drink of a spree. We suggest you do this as we have done it in the chapter on alcoholism.(Alcoholics Anonymous, Page 92)
