Great to be back on the path

Just a quick update for everyone. After treading water for a couple of months I've found a new sponsor as my old one is back in the UK. I'm eager to start working my programme again and will keep you all posted with my progress, struggles and such. There aren't as many meetings here as I'd like but ...

I stopped eating immediately but how does this effect my recovery? I did want more desert but I do not have the desire to ...

Re: 1st relapse

At the end of the day mate, your back and I am glad your back and glad to hear your getting to an AA meeting. It was drummed in to me early on Keep Coming Back. My last relapse ended last Monday too and it was suggested I got to a meeting that evening. I've never done that before (gone to a meeting ...

Sobriety vs Recovery

In my first post here I noted that I was 6 1/2 months sober. I had been attending regular meetings in Australia and at the time knew "something" was missing having been around the rooms for around a year and a half at the time I had identified with a lot of stuff but the rooms in Australia were not ...

Six n half Months sober

New here but not new to AA, Basically I've been in a relationship for six years and have been loved and supported throughout my drinking.Ssince my last drink I thought we were getting back to a healthy state but after an argument (not about drinking) I felt that I had to remove myself from the house...
