Re: CBD oil, no THC
Hmm, I was thinking about my post above, and feeling "triumphant." I should not feel that way. It appears I took out some sort of aggression. Maybe you reminded me of someone else, someone I don't like, someone who might be worthy of aggressive speech. I apologize, and I will try to tone it down in...

Re: Was my wife was incorrectly diagnosed alcohol instead of anxiety?
Her therapist at the time told her point blank she was an alcoholic and course of treatment was AA. At the time I pushed back that it was an incorrect or incomplete diagnosis and course of treatment, that I believe there’s a difference between someone who is an alcoholic for which AA is the sole co...

Re: Remembering Your Last Drunk?
I don't recall my last drunk, other than my mind was in a bad place for a long time and alcohol just wasn't working for me anymore. I was definitely "sick and tired of being sick and tired". The strange thing is that I can no longer even recall how it feels to be intoxicated. I see it so often on ot...

Re: CBD oil, no THC
As for me, kratom is far more treacherous substance. CBD has a strong medical effect. Honestly, I didn't know about it even a few months ago. I guess it was because my experience of consuming marijuana was a really destructive one. I could hardly imagine that it can cure. (Link removed in keeping w...

Re: CBD oil, no THC
Consuming CBD means you are not clean, that's all... And it's strange to notice that people advise others to try kratom. Are you sure you are making the right advice? CBD oil has no THC in it so I I have no idea how anyone can come to the conclusion that taking it means your are not "clean". It is ...

Re: Is learning about how addiction works helpful for an addict?
Would learning about how addiction works on a psychological level increase the chances of an addict overcoming their addiction? This is my second post on this topic. After reading the above replies something twigged in my mind. I realized the question maybe somewhat vague. Some times people feel ha...

I like this one the best:

Re: 4th step depression?
The strangest part of the 4th step for me is the lack of guilt I felt for some of the worst things I have done while at the same time feeling great remorse for some minor social infractions. You would think if I am a sociopath that I would feel no guilt at all. I can’t reconcile it. I am not exactl...
